Spray painting has only been in real operation since the middle of the last century, for about the same amount of time as the Queen has been on the throne. Although the early origins of spray paint stems from the 1890’s what we recognise as modern spray paint would not come about until the middle of the 20th century when in 1949 Edward Seymore would be the first to use a pressurized aerosol container to rapidly apply paint. While this was firstly used for quite simple tasks, spraying walls etc and was seen by many as a novelty product over the years it was recognised as being an important “Tool”. Today it creates home improvements, touch ups, re-vamps, even beautiful art. In simple terms, at SPRAYCO SURFACE COATING we can create a finish of your choice on virtually any surface.
